OverviewBranding for The University of the Arts School of Design senior show. The task involved creating a brand system across six different design departments that communicated the concept of process.
ApproachWe discovered that every department shared a common notion of writing down ideas on paper. Using this concept, we began our own process of pencil and digital sketches. We cut, paste, ripped, and reused these sketches to develop material for later use.
ResultThe resolve came through the idea that sometimes ideas fall flat, and others take flight. The brand system highlights the process as an idea through both image and type. From this, a system of mailers, posters, email blasts, and wayfinding were created. The project has received a semifinalist award for graphic design by Adobe Design and Achievement Awards.
